Dimethylsilicone oil, commonly known as silicone oil, has typical polysiloxane characteristics, non-toxic and tasteless, with physiological inertia and good chemical stability and weather resistance, a wide range of viscosity, low freezing point, high flash point, good hydrophobic performance, widely used as insulation, lubrication, shock-proof, dust-proof oil, antifoam, film removal and additives for daily cosmetics. B-275 silicone oil is alkane aryl modified silicone oil, not only has the above properties of dimethyl silicone oil, but also can withstand 360 ℃ high temperature, with excellent lubrication properties, widely used in aluminum alloy die-casting release agent and plastic, rubber and other non-metallic materials release agent. However, the pure B-275 silicone oil is not suitable for direct use as aluminum alloy die-casting release agent due to its large viscosity and inconvenient use.
The surface tension of B-275 silicone oil is reduced, so that it is dispersed into tiny droplets, directional adsorption of emulsifier molecules, and the interface film with certain mechanical strength is formed at the interface of silicone oil and water. The oleophilic group faces the silicone oil, and the polar group faces the water, so that the silicone oil droplets are stably dispersed in water and not easy to coalesse.
