Organopolyborosilazane – Impregnation of Ceramic Preforms
It is used for the impregnation and densification treatment of ceramic preforms. By impregnating liquid organopolyborosilazane into porous ceramic green bodies, followed by curing and subsequent high-temperature pyrolysis, the pores in the green bodies can be filled, thereby improving the density and mechanical properties (such as strength and hardness) of the ceramic materials.
This process is often used to prepare high-performance structural ceramics or functional ceramics, such as high-temperature ceramic substrates for electronic devices.

  • Flame-retardant materials: Due to its conversion into a ceramic layer at high temperatures, it can form a flame-retardant barrier. It is used in the preparation of flame-retardant coatings or flame-retardant polymer materials to enhance the fire resistance rating of the materials.
  • Electronic packaging materials: The converted ceramic products have excellent insulation and thermal conductivity, and can be used as high-temperature packaging materials for electronic devices, protecting chips to work stably in high-temperature environments.
