Combined with the characteristics of alkoxysilane hydrolytic polycondensation, a research team in a laboratory adopted emulsion hydrolyzation-polycondensation technology using long chain alkoxysilane monomer as the main body and alkoxysilane with different functional groups. The key technical problem of poor stability of pure organic alkoxysilane emulsion was solved by controlling the hydrolysis and co-condensation reaction of alkoxysilane R1Si(OR3)3 and/or mixed monomers under certain conditions through the semi-continuous drip process of monomer. The optimum technological conditions for the production of polylong chain alkyl siloxane emulsion were determined, and a high stability silicone emulsion waterproof coating was obtained which could be used for building waterproofing.
This new silicone emulsion coating has many advantages, including water as the reaction medium, no "three wastes" discharge during the reaction process, production process safety, energy saving, environmental protection, in line with the characteristics of "resource saving" and "environment friendly". In addition, its products have excellent performance, and the price is far lower than that of similar products imported from abroad, which has strong market competitiveness.
