Compared with the traditional cylinder dyeing, the pad dyeing process time is short, so in order to dye the dark color will generally add a large number of disperse dyes, because disperse dyes have no direct to the polyester fiber, and the dye will shift or even sublimate when high temperature setting, unfixed dyes form a large number of floating colors, resulting in poor color fastness to friction. At present, in the same bath process of flannel softener, in addition to feel, the color fastness to friction is also a big problem to be solved. Many printing and dyeing factories have to temporarily abandon this low-carbon process because of the poor color fastness to friction of dark fabrics.
At present, most studies only focus on the improvement of polyester pad dyeing process, and the mechanism of pad dyeing with silicone oil is less studied. By comparing and analyzing the effects of silicone oil emulsifying agent type and amount, solvent type and additive type on the friction color fastness of dark flannel fabric in the same bath process of pad dyeing, some scholars determined the key factors of the influence of silicone oil emulsion on the friction color fastness of dark flannel fabric in the same bath, and improved the friction color fastness of dark flannel fabric.
The results show that the color fastness to friction is affected by many factors, and the color fastness to friction can be improved from the following perspectives: (1) Combine the feel and stability, and choose the appropriate emulsifier and emulsification ratio as far as possible; (2) as little as possible to introduce solvents (such as isopropyl alcohol, butyl ether, etc.); (3) As little as possible to introduce additives (such as glycerin, sorbitol, diethanolamine, urea, etc.).
